Hey, I'm Meadow

A documentary approach, guided by feeling

A deer approaches visitors in a wooded park setting on a sunny afternoon.

Drawn to the way moments unfold when nothing is being asked of them, my work is rooted in documentary storytelling rather than performance. I photograph by observing rather than directing, allowing images to take shape through presence, light, and time.

A background in photography and art history shapes how I see — through composition, gesture, and the quiet symbolism of everyday life. I’m attentive to the in-between moments: the way hands rest, the way bodies lean toward one another, the way light marks a season. The result is imagery that feels lived-in and timeless, carrying emotional weight without needing explanation.

Based in Rhode Island and working throughout New England, I photograph couples, individuals, and families who feel drawn to grounded, reflective imagery — photographs that feel more like remembering than posing
